Such vessels are to leave six hours after their arrival in port.

By reasons of military necessities, entrance of such

vessel into the said port may be temporarily suspended,

I may add that the above has been communicated to the various Powers by the Japanese authorities at other

ports.

I should be much obliged if you would be good enough

to convey the above to the members of the Consular Body in

Canton at your earliest convenience.
